Here is a tricky one : why do some hate french cars ? Renault, Citroen, Peugeot make nice cars, great designs and most of them have good engines. Their only big problem is the auto parts costs, which is very high ( this is one of the reasons french dont go do auto service too much, they prefer buying another car ), but else, the french models are quite nice.
One model that is indeed special is the new Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 VTi - you can check out the looks of this car and I am sure I do not have to say anything about the engine. A small car with such a powerful engine is like a miniatural beast, you wont even know when it bites you. Many have rated the engine of the Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 VTi with a 7, on a scale from one to ten, but I would have went one grade higher, up to an eight.
Fuel consumption is not that great though, but you cannot make an agresive car with low fuel consumption, unless youre japaneese. Here is where I would grade the car with a five. Now well move on to the interior, which I would like to describe it in just one word : fantastic! Ten out of ten, if youll ask me and that is really great for a french car that uses a lot of plastic when designing the inside.
Quality price report is allright. Its not expensive for what it has to offer. The starting price for a Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 VTi is 11.990 euro with VAT included, which is not that much comparable with, lets say, an Opel Meriva. The only serious competition regarding this report would be the Ford Fusion, but some would not choose the second one because of the dull design.

Nissan going for some cheap models in US

Nissan seems to plan for the future not so very far away, the launch of two models, very cheap for the U.S. market. Small segment citadinelor invaded the American market, which is why the automaker thought it should capture this opportunity. Yet, the group needs to keep eyes open on the american whises, that require lots of confort, a low consumption car and lots of interior features, like info-navi and entertaiment tools. Even a simple push-on-display CD player would count on the final decision of the buyer.
So, as Carlos Tavares, president of Nissan America, said, the Auto Show in Detroit will present two models for U.S. entry-level, which will be positioned around the rate amount of $ 10,000, which is not that much for an average american consumer. Yet, they will also have to facilitate financial benefits, including deal with some banks or dealerships. This is possibly one of the reasons they are showcasing the new Nissan models right in the Detroit showroom.
These cars will share the platform with the next Nissan Micra V and will be assembled at a factory in Mexico. The same plant will have developed a third model to be sold on markets in South America. Until then, the european seem to find Nissan models quite low cost and sustainable, car parts speaking.
